Twilight Fair

On Thursday the 7th of November Burnham Primary School is having a Twilight Fair from 5pm till 7pm in the evening. You can find Burnham Primary School located on Godley Road, Burnham Military Camp and it's only 10 minutes South of Rolleston.

There will be amazing products that have all been made by the students of Burnham Primary School. It will be a great family outing with fun activities for the kids. If you get hungry there will be plenty of yummy and delicious food you can buy. There is a humongous variety of things you could buy. So come and join us on this fun filled evening at Burnham Primary School.

All the money that the school raises will go to us being able to adopt an Antarctic penguin, which was apart of our Antarctica learning that we did in Term 2.

We would like to say thank you to New World and the Warehouse for donating some items that help with the making of our products.

My 3 amazing poetry.

Tanka pome
I have a bunny
He is very funny
He is wearing a cast
But he is still very fast.

My cat was made
My cat was fun
I was so said
When he fell into the sun.

THE SKY.

Breathing as the sun pushes against my heart

Gary and bright

Bid black clouds

Blue

A beautiful sensation

Clear sunny & beautiful as

Always.

Mr squid

YouTube Video

Are you for or against tourism on this hidden gem?

This argument will show you,the many reasons for or against tourism,in Antarctica, and will help you make up your mind.

Firstly I would like to tell you about the amazing wildlife,in Antarctica.when you visit this amazing place, you will see penguins, whales, seals, fish, and the amazing squid & krill. It is wonderful to be able to choose this hidden gem as a holiday destination .

Secondly I would like to explain about scoots discovery hut. It is an experience of a life time.you get to see where he cocked and how he got to Antarctica.and the your children will love seeing the hut and being inside it.

However when you arrive ,in Antarctica you will ,have to drive to wherever you are staying .which will leave big carbon footprints.this could cause major damage to the endearment.

If you visit this place, without the proper gear you will get frostbite, and may have to amputate, your fingers, leg, arm,or foot.if it is not that bade, you will be able to wate until, you get back to New Zealand .So we do not think you should tack kids to Antarctica.

In conclusion the debate about tourism in Antarctica, will go on for lots of years to come.but I believe that tourism should not be allowed in Antarctica .would you like to damage the breeding sits?so just think about that?
